On a day like today, this is the place to be! I have everything a dog could possibly want here – a picturesque beach hut to shelter me from the midday sun and to store my necessities (tennis balls, water/food bowl, treats, towel and coolbox for my dog beer – yes I do enjoy a drop at sundown!)
This beach hut is perfection. From the verandah at the front I can relax and enjoy the sea views across to East Hills, scamper into the sea at high tide and dig happily for hours on the golden sands. Behind the huts are the cool, majestic pinewoods I love to explore in the shade and sometimes walk through to Holkham for a leisurely lunch at the pub.
It's easy to see why these beach huts are in such high demand. Wells-next-the-Sea is one of Britain’s top 10 beaches rated by The Telegraph. But this is more than a hut by the seaside, it’s somewhere to make happy memories and many dog day afternoons for me!
